Good morning world. This day is in remembrance of our beloved friend and brother Brandon B Kautious Johnson Today, we celebrate your homegoing. I can’t believe it’s been a year since you left us. It’s just as painful as it was a year ago, but I trust in God’s plan and I know he needed you back! I keep you with me in spirit every day, and have worked to make you proud this year! Message to the determined:
I have to take a quick sec to recognize everybody out here that is stepping up to bat in their lives, be it a personal goal or an entire career aspiration. Y’all make me want to work harder. I see those out here taking notes and applying them. Actions will ALWAYS speak louder than words and I’m observing the action. Some people will always talk reckless and continue to spin their wheels, but we’re gonna continue to let them do that and drown in their own disappointment. You are in charge of your own success so own it and join the ranks.
To those taking themselves seriously, putting in more effort, investing in their dreams and stepping up their game: It makes me not only proud but justified and motivated because I’ve been tellin’ y’all you can do this and some of you really are!!! Congrats to everyone breaking away from the same ol’ mentality, and raising the bar. This is only the beginning and you’ve got a lot of work ahead of you but if you keep pushing you will get those results!! Mistakes are going to be made along the way and some severe obstacles are going to come but if you can learn from those experiences and recover, you’re going to make it far. The key is consistency, sacrifice, and perseverance!! Let’s roll up our sleeves and GET TO WORK!!! HOLLER IF YOU FEEL ME!!!
P.S.: An extra huge thank you and I love you goes out to everybody to takes the care and sometimes major effort to encourage me and help me better myself, even when it’s tough love. I get a lot of that and while I don’t always like it, I thank you for it. Definitely blessed to have love, support, and people that for some reason care about me and believe in me even when I don’t myself. I may not show each of you the appreciation you deserve but know that I’m so grateful for you!
